It's been so quiet...

Bored and tired..

But too tired to do anything...

Today really tired to the max....

Start from yesterday...
Yesterday played 2 hours of Badminton...
Even though its me and Hx against Len...
Really though...
Run here run there...

Then this morning...
Went for a run...
Inspired by Kx...
Then...
Had nearly a 2 hour tennis session...

Then had a total of 7.5hrs of K!
Extreme... First time sing so long...
But of course not continuously...
K lunch @Hougang with the councillors...
Then K@ Cineleisure with my colleagues...
But not bad... at least I know that old songs still suit me the best...

Going off to sleep...
A long day tmr... tata

Stylish football

Just finished watching Italy vs Australia...
Italy come back 1-0(pen) in the 93rd min...
Lol...

My Dad was like telling me how the italians love to play around with the ball...
Solos...
And end up losing the ball...
And not scoring...

Haha...
Finally saw it with my own eyes...
The italians have the right to play such football..
They are skillful...
Indeed, I believe everyone of them could dribble past any of the Australians...
That's how powerful they are...
But... if only they had more teamwork( which is shown in the second half)...
They could have scored plenty...
In the second half after 1 of their midfielders got sent off...
Ball posession dropped to 41%...
Yet.. they still threaten the Australian goalkeeper like nobody's business...
Their counter-attack is swift and deadly...
And finally a pen-kick ends all the drama...

Exciting match...
Phew... Let me catch my breath...

This is the most 'kayu' match I've ever seen...
The second goal was totally an offside...

Outing with "OG"

Went out today with CK, Len, YH and Fel initially to Din Tai Fung (Wisma) for lunch to celebrate her birthday which is in a couple of minutes time...

"Is Din Tai Fung nice?" Ck asked.
"Yar", I replied without hesitation.
"Have you ate at Din Tai Fung before?" He asked again.
"No. Never." I replied this time with much hesitation...

Haha... its funny how people(myself) link the quality to the brand...

Went to play pool after that...
When me and CK play pool alone( After Fel and Len left)
Kena scolded by the boss...
Cause CK wanted to try some shots...
Then he playfully tried to do a masse...
Wah... the boss super angry sia....
No mood to play liao...
Feeling guilty...

After went to Funan walk walk, then joined their OG for dinner...
LOlx I wasn't even part of the camp lar..
then I go crash...
Anyway let me try and recall their names...
Guys: Kenny, Edward, Gavin
Gals: Ling Hui, Carine (I think it's spelt like this), Louiza aka Yan Ru, Cynthia, Valerie...

Had dinner at Country Manna Suntec, then went to the Sky Garden to play games lar..
Took a couple of pics on CK's camera...

None of the gals are my type...(I'm bad)
But truthfully they are kinda still too childish...
Pretty or not is not my main concern...
Yupz... Conclusion for tonight...
I better focus on my studies...

France 1 Korea 1

This is the first world cup match that I really sat down and watch the whole game...
First half was like boring...
Possesion mainly with the Frenchmen...
The koreans couldn't even set up a proper attack..
And they conceded 1 goal early in the first half....
It looked all gloomy for the koreans...

Second half was totally different...
Many missed the action cause they left after watching the first half...
The frenchmen were getting tired...
And the koreans are making better passes...
And yet they still cannot finish...
It was obvious in the standards...
The French would try to dribble past the koreans but seldom the other way round...
All passing...
Finally, their efforts paid off...
An equaliser...
And that was what made me want to blog this down...

When the French scored, the 'goal' was like diminished, weak, lack of excitement...
Almost out of boredom..
BUT, when the Koreans scored, the 'goal' was like thunderous, accompanied by the smiles on everyone's face...
Many stood up and clapped for the Koreans...

And that was not all..
From that moment onwards, the game suddenly became very exciting...
Especially towards the last few minutes, there were plenty of chances, and near misses...

But all in all I would like to say is that it is obvious that the standards of football between the French and the Koreans are miles apart... And it may be just luck that the Koreans equalised so late in the game... But to many, it may be their dream to see the Koreans in the finals... And it is not unachieveable...

2 months ago when I first started working, my pastor prayed for me and I was reminded of this verse... At that point in time I did not realise what was in store for me...

2 months of working... got further and further away from God... Everytime reached home so tired... KO liao... What quiet time do I have?...

Then I suddenly remembered the verse from Matt 7:24...

Well... got a new pair of specs...
My first pair of specs tt is so Ex...
I'll definitely treasure it..

Got a temporary phone...

Met up with some of my JC classmates yesterday...
Played badminton...
Shopped around...
Dine at Pasta Mania Toa Payoh...
Indulged in 2 pastas and a desert and a white wine...
Played mahjong at Zac's place with Belle, Jon and WJ...
Subsequently joined by Wilmur...
Damn he is so tanned...
I want to be like him...
Anyway after 1 whole night of playing I only won $0.10...
Lol...

Slept till 11am...
Went out and watch Omen...
Typical Horror Movie with a Big House and a weird child...
Except for several "sudden" n "disturbing" scenes...
It was not very fantastic...

Enjoying my vodka now...

Out of luck and careless

Been very careless and out of luck...
Left my ATM card at the cash deposit machine not long ago...
Dropped my glasses in the sea water at sentosa...
Lost my phone on my way to work yesterday...

Kinda reminds me of my primary school days... When I lose my specs every month... lol...

Leopard never changes it's spots... Now I know...

Today is just fantastic...
Was feeling very bored today...
And a bit of tiredness...

I'm just running in Safe Mode...
With the minimal set of drivers...
Everything was based on instincts...

Nearly spilled a couple of dishes...
Especially the Indian Vegetarian (not again!)
Thank God that the dish was miraculously stuck on the edge of my tray...

Dinner was great...
Momentum was there...
Drinks were topped up...
Everything was in order...

I was in the leading pack...
thanks to:
someone who keeps topping up the plates in the 5 table shared side station...

Great... Rare occasion that Lawrence actually praised the part-timers....
Better... Found a faster way to reach home( yeah... after working for 2 mths and now then you realise)...
